New Designs/Samples from a Customer

But, during the last convention, stamper Burning Rubber* (Burning Rubber© IS my real name) purchased the medium and small sets of Linda Reid's Star (shown below)
Because "Burning" had obviously searched the catalog (not an easy browse!) we were very interested in the "draw" of this particular set. Well, she sent samples! Boy, did she! Very impressive collection! Thanks for all the samples. The "green" you see here is actually a pink and silver foil background. So much for accurate color presentation!

	Star Flowers two ways!
Doesn't spin art make the perfect star background? (And what great, wonderful, messy fun to produce!)
What would a star page be without "Twinkle, Twinkle?" You can almost see them winking at you!
The scanner makes these look black, but think "navy blue" for a better idea.
The background here is a lovely, fluid "sky like" watercolor background. In the lower corner a hand painted bottlecap embellishment	.The green embossed star is actually a prettier shade. This is a small book with alternating green and yellow pages. Pretty sure you journal makers would recognize the technique.
Last but not least a "kaleidescope type" design. Great fun.....hope Burning Rubber's (AKA Viki Banaszak) work and enthusiasm for this set of images gets you interested. Looks like she had a lot of fun. Here's something all crafters will understand.....When gg designs offered to return the samples after scanning them she wrote: . . .don't send those back, I have a ton that I made while playing, and I am trying to clean out my box of scraps. I was cleaning the studio a few weeks ago and got a full to overflowing sweater box of scrap papers I am determined to use up before I break into another new package of paper. LOL. I doubt it will work, but I'm gonna try. More about Viki... Lets see, I started stamping about 8 years ago, after I started working at Michaels. I saw a cute little stamp and decided to make xmas cards. Little did I know what that single stamp would do. Around the same time I was interested in polymer clay and also learning to use the computer. I've been published in "Stamping Arts and Crafts" (before the name change) and "Somerset Studio". Im also a member of the "Carving Consortium" and carve some of my own stamps. .I also do a bit of beadwork. One "unofficial" visiting cat (her room mate's daughter's) just presented them with kittens. Six of them. She says, " They will be old enough to be adopted out in a few weeks and then I can have my bedroom back :) Maybe, maybe not! She writes "We also seem to be the local stray cat depository."
