RIBBON Rubber stamps, unmounted rubberstamps, unmounted

Wearing a ribbon to show your support for a cause dear to you has become very popular. Ribbons of various colors designate different causes.

These ribbons, requested by a customer, Deb Foy, may not be purchased for cash. Instead, please send ten of the Breast Cancer "Fund the Fight, Find a Cure" first class postage stamps to receive the four images.

Deb, who's interest in the Cancer Research is very personal (both of her Grandfathers--no misprint--died of breast cancer), gives us this website URL to visit to learn more about the USPS "semi-postal" Breast Cancer Awareness Stamp.

In turn, this site contains a link to an extensive list of sites with pertinent information.

Thanks Deb, for spurring us all on.

Like the Breast Cancer stamps--this ribbon will be offered free with proof of a donation to the Red Cross (designated for the WTC Disaster Relief), the Salvation Army or other recognized relief organization of your choice.

This ribbon is designed to be fairly easy to color with encourage frequent use

A different kind of ribbon, serving a different purpose.....give yourselves "First Prize" whenever you need it! (We KNOW you deserve it!) Approximately 1 1/2" long, it deliberately does not have a "tie"--so that you can add your drawing it free hand and attaching it where you wish--or by adding yarn or embroidery floss embellishments.

Linda's Stars . . .
Linda Reid has, for some time now, been interested in stars....fat ones, skinny ones, all kinds. She has a grandson, Tyler, who LOVES them, so of course, she's happy to provide an endless supply.
Many of you have gotten glimpses of some of the attempts.....the first carvings. Linda had described wanting a "shadow stamp" and various textures to use to "over print" them.
In working this out, we first tried full size patterns, but it soon became apparent this could get out of hand! The patterns were as large as the base stamp. Making them as expensive as it is and limiting the number and variety of "over print" stamps. BUT a segment, roughly the size and shape of one "arm" of the star could serve the same purpose, without "breaking the bank.

The final results are shown in three sizes, below:

Linda Reid's Stars
Stars Medium Stars Small
ff J/Large--$11.00, Medium--$8.00, Small--$5.00

....Welcome! (or Come In)SS 13 B
Two "just for fun" stick figures by Janet Detter Margul..

She gave us her blessings to use them....and suggested starting a "line." Hmmmm....not a bad idea.

But, we like hers best so for now, these two are the only ones in the new "gg doodles" line.

Who knows? Maybe more later. There was great fun at a social discussing the various things "Jan" could be doing.........some printable, some not : )

Meanwhile....these are $4.00 each
