Berry Leaves 3 x 4"

356

$7.00

(The berries will be along later in the summer, hopefully.)

The berries never arrived! Only the throrns! So...the bush is history!

This mini version of the tulips from the Holiday Impressions Convention has been included here by special request.

Originally it was decided not to produce the smaller version....but stampers have written saying they have used the stamps on shrink art with some success and would like to have the images in the smaller version.

Elizabeth Perini sends this sample.....

The blue background is made using a technique Elizabeth invented.

Often the backs of gg designs stamps are quite smooth (thanks to a very careful and competant rubber die producer) and Elizabeth sometimes uses the back of the stamp as a shadow stamp, to create a background for her images.

In this particular case, it worked exceptionally well.

Give it a try with your recent gg designs stamps.

Thanks Elizabeth, for sharing this idea. Yet another reason for using unmounted stamps!

Butterfly "Kit"

3 Shadow Stamp Wings with 3 interchangable bodies.

351 Butterfly Kit.....$10

There is obviously no attempt to create anatomically correct butterflies. You all no doubt already have many lovely, handsomely drawn, realiimages. This is meant to be a stamper's "toy." Use the wing shapes as shadow stamps to lay in the first color. Then add designs with your favorite method. These stamps work well with fluid watercolor.

Ida Abshier's "monoprint" watercolor method creates wonderful, loose, flowing creatures floating across pages of a journal, in a quick, loving message to someone you miss....or just for fun....to make you own "To Do" lists more playful (and perhaps, more apt to get done!)
