Well, I guess when they tell you not to use a soft-white light bulb with the home stamp making kit, they mean it. hee hee
gg designs--Yes, they really mean it. The system is simple but each criteria is important. The light, the distance from the stamp, the density of the negative, all contribute to the quality of the stamp you make.
Q--Is the system hard to use?
A--It is surprisingly simple. The directions are clear with an extensive trouble shooting section to help you if your results are not what you expected. PLUS....JustRite has excellent telephone support in place if you find you can't solve an issue on your own.
Q--How do I prepare my art work?
A--For those of you using a PC, the software included guides you step by step. If you use a Mac, you can prepare your artwork in almost any imaging program you currently use.
Q--Why a stamp instead of computer generated phrases?
Answered best by customer Arlene Faber. The best reason I can think of for a stamp rather than computer type is that the stamp allows for a wide range of mediums including embossing. It also allows for the best colormatching as you can use the same ink as your project. This is not easy to do when you do the text on the puter.
gg designs--With the JustRite system, anything you want to say is available to you in just a few minutes! So, in addition to its many creative options, the system is also infinitely practical!

Q--From Elizabeth Perini
With the system, could I reproduce something of my own, I have taken some photos that might make cool stamps. (See a sample below)

Halftones are challenging stamps to produce, just as they are to print/stamp but they can be done successfully. |

An invitation.....Make a project with a stamp that you already have (preferably, but not necessarily, a gg designs image) and design a small* "add on" that makes the result unique, personal and very special. gg designs will produce the "accessory" stamp so that you can experience first hand the fun the JustRite Home Stamp Making Kit can add to your projects.
Three people's work (first come, first served) will be chosen, in exchange for a scan showing how the addition of a unique touch you designed enhances your project.
* No larger than 1 X 2"
To participate, write to gg designs--Special JustRite Stamp Sample..., describing your plan (or send a scan)...If you are one of the first submissions and the project is "doable" we will produce a sample JustRite stamp for you.
